The International Relations Unit coordinates the university's international collaborations in close contact with university leadership, academic, faculties and research centers. The office is responsible for the maintenance of the university's bilateral agreements and participation in international networks and organizations

Corporate Relation Unit is the primary contact between University of Malaya and the media to enhancing public perception and image of the University. The main task of this unit is to build and enhance a positive relationship with the media; to promote UM’s achievements, activities and events to the media. The unit also provides advice and guidance to all campus community who are organizing events or activities that deal with the media.
